Real Michay leaves preserved in 1000 silver plate to create this unique brooch.
The Michay or Holly-leafed barberry is a bush very similar to the Calafate and they resemble a small leafed wild holly. Depending on the season you can either find them in full bloom exposing bunches of tiny yellow flowers or in full production of tiny purple edible berries. The legend tells that whoever tries these berries will always return to Patagonia.
As natural products, these handicrafts depend highly on weather conditions. Therefore, colors and sizes may vary, depending on growing times, temperature and rain.
